In case you haven’t heard, it’s fall, people. Full-fledged-fall. Hillary Sloan and I are… I guess you could say obsessed. We’ve covered DIY fall decor, fall desserts, fall trends, fall fashion, and can’t-miss fall events. I’ve come to the conclusion that one of the few benefits of becoming an adult is the advantage of not having to head back to school in September. This year, I fully welcomed autumn into my heart knowing that it didn’t include the burden of exams.
In honor of autumn, here are some festive drinks to keep your mind off of what is to come (a.k.a. blizzard season):
This drink is so simple it’s a mystery why I didn’t think of it on my own. It’s just apple cider and champagne! Although, if you really want to get crazy, you could swap out the virgin apple cider with some Angry Orchard. #Superstar
Pumpkin pie in a glass is smooth and creamy. Calling for Kahlua Pumpkin Spice and hazelnut liqueur for booze, this drink would make for a satisfying after-dinner dessert.
It’s sad to admit that two of my favorite indulgences are ice cream and delicious alcoholic beverages. So why not combine the two? This recipe even includes graham crackers to ensure an authentic pumpkin pie feel.
Garnishes really make a drink come alive. The Rosy Cooler proves that. This drink is like a modified mojito—muddle strawberries and basil and add Angry Orchard, vanilla vodka, and simple syrup.
The best part about this drink might be the name. You owe it to yourself to try this recipe for—if nothing else—that reason alone. The homemade hibiscus simple syrup required puts this drink in a league of its own.
Sticking with the alcoholic cider theme, this beverage combines cider, vodka, cranberry, and orange juice. Give it a shake and you’re good to go!

More…. ice cream! Similar to the Young Buck, the Apple Cider Float recipe requires homemade simple syrup, as well. This time, though, it’s cinnamon simple syrup. Bottoms up!
This drink isn’t messing around. It calls for real-life, no-jokes, we-ain’t-kiddin’ pumpkin puree. Mix it with apple cider and vanilla vodka. But what gives it the fizz? The ever-trendy ginger beer you top it off with.

Virgin Dranks (For All You No-Fun Havers)
You know how crazy I am about crock pots. (Remember crock pot appetizers, crock pot breakfasts, crock pot meals, and crock pot desserts?) Now you can use the crock pot for big batches of pumpkin spiced lattes. Lord knows everyone will want some!
Save yourself the $6 and make the delicious Starbucks apple cider at home. Everyone else did the hard work for you (figuring out the recipe). All you have to do is boil it up.
